Lesson Philosophy - I am here to guide you and help you find the answer to lasting learning for yourself.
Lessons are private, either on my horses or yours. You may discover how working from the ground for part of your lesson enhances your relationship and leadership with your horse. Ground work will be challenging some of the time and very enlightening at best. My wish is to help you progress in your riding in the realm of relaxation, timing, feel, and awareness of how you influence your horse. Finally I will always include how the horse thinks in regards to the work being done during the lesson so that your lesson has more meaning and makes sense.
Lesson Structure - Lessons are 1 hour long; that does not include you getting your horse ready for lesson. A portion of the lesson is on the ground working the horse through communicative maneuvers to get them mentally in tune with you for riding. The remaining time is on horseback; learning endless ways to improve riding and communication skills through the use of your body and intention.

Pricing - $55.00 1 hour private lesson. $30.00 1/2 hour private. Case by case basis, semi-private $35.00/hour

* riders over 195# full dress weight will only be able to participate in ground work lessons. I use weight ratios in calculating the size of student to horse .
